Hello John and members,

I have just joined this site and am trying to familiarise myself with the content, I must say it looks impressive and the light hearted member comments and the desire to share information about jobs, surroundings and weather (a truly common language!) makes me feel this is the right environment to share ideas and experiences.

Micro-CV:
I have worked in IBM Call Centres for 7 years and manage Customer Satisfaction for our Telecoverage Centres in UK, Netherlands and South Africa, that is to say, I report performance metrics with proposals for action and manage exceptions aswell as encourage best practices. I have a passion for ensuring the role of Customer Satisfaction / Customer Service / Customer Loyalty is one that in ingrained in every 'touch' with the customer. I use this passion to lead action in others, I use statistics to show them the way, I use results to justify the effort.

I look forward to learning from you all and giving any insight that may be of value.

I'm in downtown Denver, Colorado. Haven't been to London since Fall of 2000, looking forward to visiting again soon. Glad to see everyone! Know this isn't the forum, but would love to hear from anyone who is involved with implementing VoIP PBX Call centers ... just finished my masters in telecom and my final paper was on VoIP PBX's ... now my company wants me to find companies that have this platform installed. Can anyone help?

Salutations!

The name's Cheyenne Kavanagh calling in from Sydney Australia... and NO, I don't have a dingo for a pet, or a hat with corks hanging down from strings - I am originally from Auckland NZ--- You know, the home of the best Rugby Union players on Earth? (oooooooooooo....)...

I am the Account Executive (soon to be BDM) for an institution called SR Telepeformance. We are a global network of 146 contact centres, and specialise in the human aspect of CRM - through providing Inbound, Outbound and Market Research initiatives, as well as 'Customer Value Management' - an elaboration of CRM - which looks at the value of each customer calculated through the ROI of your inhouse/outsourced CRM programs. Not to mention Data mining and cleansing, and various other consultative and marketing services.

I have been with this organisation for the last 4 years and love what I do. I must admit it has been a hard road, but I haven't learnt so much about the corporate world in my career life, since being a part of SRTP - and looking forward to broadening such experiences further.

For the short time as a member on this site? - immensly enlightened by the standard of feedback from the congregations of executives within the industry. Perhaps I might be able to return the favour somewhat?

Hello to you all from sunny Glasgow.......and it is!!!  [10/9/2002 16:50:29]

Hi,

We are a Training and Development company based in Glasgow, working across the UK and Europe. Specialising in Call/Contact Centres but also work within the wider sales and service sectors. We work with all frontline staff and their support, managers etc..

Glasgow today is beautiful in the sunshine, which as all would agree, is highly unusual as we are known to have quite a bit of rain throughout the year. Hope all in Inverness are recovering from the flash-floods over the weekend, we just missed them by a day as we de-camped on Saturday and came back to Glasgow.

What a great site............my first time, but no longer a CCV virgin!
