Data format for inbound call forecasting and staff scheduling?  [1/8/2008 10:21:41]

I am currently developing an open source reporting utility that feature inbound call forecasting and staff scheduling.

In particular, I need to import the inbound call activity data. Yet, I am a bit at a loss here. Which data formats should I support?

If you, as a call center professional, were to use such a tool, what data format would make your life easier?

Thanks in advance,

I would ask your stakeholders as they will be the ones using your reports.

ODBC links would be best with some sort of data translation you can setup (ie. FNAME on table1=First_Name on your system, etc).
CSV files
Excel files

Which ACDs are you planning to support?
